Job Role – Scholar Trainee
As a Scholar Trainee at Wipro, you will join Wipro’s technology team and gain practical experience working on live client projects. The role involves learning various programming, software development, and IT service delivery skills while balancing academic coursework.
Your performance during the program directly contributes to your growth within the company, and successful completion can lead to a full-time position as a Software Engineer or System Associate.
Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria
Eligible Degrees:
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) – Specializations in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Electronics
- Physics
Academic Requirements:
- 10th and 12th Standard: Pass
- Graduation: Minimum 60% or 6.0 CGPA as per university guidelines
- Year of Passing: 2024 & 2025
Additional Conditions:
- Must have studied Core Mathematics as a subject in graduation
- Business/Applied Mathematics will not be considered
- Only one active backlog allowed at the time of online assessment (must be cleared before joining)
- Maximum 3 years of educational gap (between 10th and start of graduation)
- No gaps during graduation
- Should be an Indian Citizen, or hold a PIO/OCI card if holding another country’s passport
- Bhutan & Nepal nationals must submit citizenship proof
- Candidates must be 18 years or older at the time of registration
Stipend and Salary Structure

Selection Process
The Wipro WILP selection process is designed to assess your aptitude, communication skills, and technical readiness for an IT career.
1. Round 1 – Online Assessment (80 minutes):
The test consists of four key sections:
- Verbal Ability (20 mins): English grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary
- Analytical Ability (20 mins): Logical reasoning and data interpretation
- Quantitative Ability (20 mins): Basic mathematics and problem-solving
- Written Communication Test (20 mins): Essay writing to evaluate written communication
2. Round 2 – Voice Assessment:

3. Round 3 – Business Discussion:

Service Agreement
Selected candidates must sign a 60-month service agreement.
If you leave the organization before completing the agreement period, you will need to repay the joining bonus on a pro-rata basis.
