About the Role: Graduate Apprentice Trainee (GAT)

Volvo Group is currently hiring fresh graduates for the Graduate Apprentice Trainee role under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). As a GAT, you will work in Volvo Group Purchasing Support Center, a team responsible for delivering tactical purchasing operations for the company’s global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

The GAT role involves a wide variety of learning and operational responsibilities, including:

• Order & Portfolio Management: Maintain logs, handle requisitions, and resolve supplier-related discrepancies.
• RFQ Management: Assist in floating, tracking, and analyzing quotes from suppliers.
• Cost & Supplier Analysis: Conduct 80/20 analysis, ABC costing, volume trends, and supplier performance tracking.
• Support Activities: Supplier integration, dashboard creation, database management, and taxonomy support.

Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following academic criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) from any of the following disciplines:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Automobile Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics (E&E)
  • Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 65% CGPI (or equivalent) in graduation
• Recent graduates from 2023 or 2024 batches are preferred
• No active backlogs at the time of joining

Required Skills & Competencies
