About the Role – Contact Support Group (CSG)

The CSG (Contact Support Group) acts as the first line of defense in managing IT infrastructure incidents and service requests through multiple channels like voice, email, chat, self-service portals, and AI-powered bots.

In this role, you’ll handle technical troubleshooting, incident resolution, and customer support for global clients, ensuring that every user receives fast and reliable IT service.

You will also gain exposure to advanced tools, AI-driven support systems (like CHIP), and ticket management platforms, making it a perfect start for freshers who want to build a career in IT support and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a CSG Associate at Capgemini, your main duties will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service via voice, chat, and email.
  • Managing IT service tickets — categorizing, tracking, and resolving issues within SLA timelines.
  • Providing technical troubleshooting for issues like internet connectivity, password resets, session errors, and system access problems.
  • Using business intelligence tools to analyze recurring problems and propose preventive measures.
  • Managing Knowledge Base systems to improve support efficiency.
  • Working closely with AI-based tools like CHIP, Capgemini’s intelligent support bot.
  • Ensuring first contact resolution (FCR) by resolving issues during the first interaction whenever possible.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Handling customers courteously and maintaining professionalism throughout interactions.
  • Working across global clients in industries like Telecommunications, Finance, Healthcare, and Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have completed any 3-year degree or diploma (any stream).
  • Year of Passing: 2025 only.
  • Minimum academic performance as per Capgemini’s hiring standards.
  • Must possess an active DigiLocker account and an Aadhaar-linked mobile number while applying.

Salary Details

  • Total CTC: ₹3.25 LPA
    • Fixed Pay: ₹3,00,000 per annum
    • One-Time Joining Bonus: ₹25,000

Work Location

Selection & Interview Process

Capgemini’s Off-Campus Drive 2025 for CSG hiring will be conducted virtually through the Superset platform.

Selection Process includes:

1. Online Assessment (Aptitude + Communication Test)

  • Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, and Verbal English.
  • Assess communication, grammar, and comprehension skills.
  • Duration: 60–90 minutes.

2. Technical / Customer Support Interview

  • Questions on IT fundamentals, networking basics, ticketing systems, and customer support scenarios.
  • Example topics: IP configuration, troubleshooting, and Windows commands.

3. HR Interview

  • General discussion about your background, flexibility with shifts, and relocation preferences.
